Halloween Photo Countdown

This image was taken during a horror photo shoot with a young model.  We chose a costume that evoked a timeless aspect, gave her a shipwrecked look both in and out of the water, then added prop elements that gave the image context - a washed up doll, a dagger and water plants that she dragged up on shore with her.  We then recolored the photo to give it elements of contrast and boost her facial expressions as the focus of the image.  The result is a creepy portrait a la the movie The Grudge.
