Connecticut's film industry is growing - good news! This means we need more people in CT who have mad-skills to support this growth. There is a great economic incentive for CT to attract the film industry and, in attempts to do just that, the training of local film labor is being strongly encouraged.
Enter: the state funded FITP (Film Industry Training Program) taking place this summer from June 6th - July 1st at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. The program is intended for:
"individuals who want to learn the basics of feature film and episodic television production and potentially pursue entry-level freelance work in the industry. The program is most appropriate for individuals with prior or current professional experience in the industry, college graduates with majors in film and digital media, and students currently enrolled in relative academic coursework. High school seniors with significant experience in film or digital media production will also be considered."
