QLab Sponsors Former MP Intern for Broadway Sound Master Classes
'}}

Apparently Miceli Productions didn't already have enough reasons to love QLab, the award winning software that makes rich multimedia designs for live performances and installations.  QLab just announced, via their quirky vlog post (video blog post), that former Miceli Productions intern Kate Crescimanno has been offered a sponsorship to participate in the upcoming 8th Annual LIVEDESIGN Broadway Sound Master Classes in NYC!  Congratulations Kate!

Miceli Productions has been using QLab at Hartford Stage since version .9 and relied on QLab for playback on Michael Miceli's multimedia design for Virginia Stage Company's Romeo and Juliet (featured in the January 2010 issue of American Theatre).

Kate Crescimanno is currently at University of Oklahoma as a Drama major with an emphasis in Scene Technology.  She interned with Miceli Productions in 2008 and credits working closely with Michael and Jennifer in helping her decide her future.  "I didn't really consider theatre to be anything more than an extracurricular activity until I worked with MP - that's when I started seeing a career in theatre as a viable option.  My Miceli internship played a large role in me deciding my major.  I can't wait to see the inner workings of theatre design on such a large scale in America's theatre capital."
